Has anyone converted an SLR dash to electronic speedo?
If so what is involved and how do you go about calibrating it?

When you say electronic speedo, which brand do you mean? I have a VDO one in mine.
Very easy to calibrate - there are 3 ways to do it.
It came with instructions though.

Think it's been done a few times before. I have a digital speedo and tacho in my LX hatch. You can use the pushbutton control on it to calibrate it.
eg: drive exactly one kilometer and push the button or drive beside someone doing the exact speed and input that...
My gauges were from dakota digital...

If I was going to go that route I would probably find a car at the wreckers with an electric speedo that has increments more or less the same as the SL/R one and then swap the SL/R speedo face and needle over to the electric speedo (along with any wiring and sensors).

i think CRS probably mean that you can get a converter to change the elec signal to mechanical to run the Torana Speedo......
