Just a quick question, I have a mini spool to put into a 9 inch center, Can I use an Open Wheeler hemisphere or do i have to use an LSD one????
Just had a quick look at my old torana banjo and was wondering whether the 9 inch centers are the same, because you can only split the LSD Hemipsheres apart, not an open wheeler.....

Open wheel centre is fine in a 9" for a mini spool

Phew, Thanks mate that's all I needed to know. I have a reconditioned 3.7 open wheeler center on it's way to me now. I was told that the mini-spool would fit, but just had to be sure, was worring my self after I ordered it....
