Howdy,

I pulled the booster off to give it a bit of a tidy up and when I was checking it out brake fluid pee'd out of the check valve/vaccum hose? hole. Luckily it went all over my foot and not on the paint work.

I'm assuming this is not normal and suspect a worn/damaged master cylinder has forced fluid back through the rubber seal and into the booster. I will replace both the booster and master but should I be checking anything else ie proportioning valve while I'm at it?

Cheers,

Big T

Fluid in the booster is normal when a master cylinder failr
Rebuilding the booster and replacing the master is a great idea

Valve should be ok though .......... but 30 yrs old...... so a freshen up wouldn't hurt
