Mmm, interesting. Will have to see what I'm up to, might wave some flags. South Coogee? I's gonna be up there in two weeks time.

I'm assuming the 240Z is the token Group A.

Sent my entry (IPRA) in last week. I was down to enter the first FOSC event at bathurst but had to withdraw....here's hoping I can get my sh1t together this time to finally do the whole track at race pace.

this was sent to me last night...

We advise that due to the overwhelming response to our Easter 2010 event at Mount Panorama, our acceptances process has been overburdened and naturally delayed.

Plus, just to make matters a tad more difficult, the closing date has been extended for extenuating circumstances such as entrants affected by the mail strikes which are still only resolving themselves even now.

So please relax .. I know we are asking the near impossible of you .. we will get the acceptances sorted as quickly as humanly possible.

My Best Regards

Charles Jardine

I got an email on February 4 saying that my entry had been accepted, so Bathurst from April 1 to 4 is on for me. I know my mate in the Gemini Group C got his entry accepted as well. I don't know how many Group C & A cars are going to run but it would have to be over 30 cars.

I can't believe it is only 7 weeks away.

I'm taking the yellow car.

Has anyone seen an entry list?

Any of you guys who follow this forum going to come along to either look or play?

I know WhiteA9Xs is coming to play, but who else?

It will be great to see and hear the Group C cars around that track. Over the top of the mountain, from the Cutting to Skyline is a great bit of track to drive and if you haven't driven there, the corner at the end of Mountain Straight is bloody quick. The Chase gets your attention - it's not that tough a bend but as soon as you're through it your on the brakes in a big way and if you're not straight you wont pull up in time for the left hand corner in the middle of the Chase (I guess that is why the sand trap is so big).

4 weeks to go!

Take some pics. My year of no car events is continuing. Think it's been going for about two years now!!!

I'll be up there pit crewing for my mate in his Group C Commodore. We are in pit garage No7 with a couple of Torana's and another Commodore.

Will take plenty of pictures and post them next week.

I'm also going out to the FE FC Nationals in Orange on the weekend. There are events all weekend with a huge show and shine on the Saturday at the old Gnoo Blas race circuit and a more informal day at the Rugby park on the Sunday.

If you are in that area and like the early Holden's then go have a look. There's some very high quality authentic, restored, and modified cars attending.

wow what an awesome track bathurst is , although the engine was misfiring at 6000 onwards (bloody points dizzy) i was good for 2.43 per lap times , it makes you appreciate how the f..k the legends drove it all day and the super taxi,s running 2.06 is amazingly fast . 260k down the mountain felt nice though , i,d do it again if the chance comes up .

will see if i can get you some torana incar footage rory the lion !!

Very happy to hear you were doing 2.43's with 6000 rpm on board.

Make me happier and tell me the track was dry

Hey mate, have you got any pics from the FE FC Nationals? I've seen a few and there were some bloody nice cars there.

Here are some of my pictures from FOSC. I also recorded video of each Group A/C race on Saturday and will edit and upload it as a complete movie over the next 24 to 48 hours.

I've uploaded a short clip of most of the field going over Skyline during race three on Saturday afternoon.

As always the V8 Group C's sounded amazing but so do the BMW's. If you haven't heard these things on song then you'll be impressed - absolute weapons.

Enjoy.
