It's been a looooooonnngggg time between drinks!
Starting again. Relocated. Rebuilding.
New plans:
308 getting replaced with LS1.
***Unsure what brake setup/Stud pattern to go with. Car will have Uncut guards/No Flares. What offset/rim & tyre size will be best?***
Getting new IFS & power steer option from either:

I'd like to thank Billy, the peice of shit panel beater, that stored my perfecty good bonnet and bootlid in a puddle of water and ruined an edge of them both. (You can see the water line along the bootlid in the first pic!)
Now they are off, along with my doors and all panels to be stripped, repaired & primed.

Started with the roof, taking the shell back to bare metal.
Some small pitting in places which will be rectified.

It is not often you see stripped doors looking like that nowadays.

Great to see you'r back into it
Might be worth checking those nolothane bushes etc before you get too much more into it
Was all the rage 10 years ago but they let a lot of people down - put mine in round then as well
Changed out a set in my landcruiser recently that had just crumbled to bits
Hadn't driven it for 4 years and first trip out they just fell apart

Just wondering what you used to stripp the panels with. I had mine sandblasted and painted in KBS and Etch Primer straight away inside and out.

Been awhile!
Had to make some changes again since Covid hit.
So for finacial reasons, going cheaper & scrapped LS1 conversion. Keeping it L20, M40, but will have mods.
But progress has been made. Found a virgin bore 1974 202 with Trimatic for $200

I know the thermostat housings were painted red on the early cars, but did all 202's have them finished that way or did some leave the factory with a natural finish?
