67V is Tan vinyl with Tan vinyl insert on SL, but 67V is Tan Vinyl with Gazelle Golfball vinyl insert on SLR. I guess this is a fairly unusual trim combination. Should also have Gazelle in the door trims as an insert. Everything else was Tan. 64V switched the colours so Tan was the insert and the rest a mixture of Tan and Gazelle.

Spud this is a good illistration of the early style Herringbone cloth. Introduced in early 1973 on LJ it was found to not wear too good and was changed to a US imported Herringbone cloth. The difference being the the coloure stripe do not line up.
One with the lable is the early one. Would appreciate you posting you car build month so I can narrow the changeover date

59R is Chestnut vinyl, 59R also means you have chestnut headliner, carpet, facias, seat backs, etc.

-60Y in LH being Chamois Vinyl, Chevron Cloth and Covert Carpet. Covert Carpet is confirmed NLA from all major carpet suppliers. Buckskin is the closest. Also good luck on finding Chevron Cloth

60W is only on SL and S and is Chamois with Covert carpet, rear compt shelf, facia and crash pad.

Gazelle and Tan trim attached. Not much difference.
Once you have a copy of Torana Tough in your hands just go to pages 178-183 and all trims will be laid out for LH

Have a talk to Gary Rimmer at Eastern Automotive Upholstery
Unit 5/200 Canterbury Rd, Bayswater, VIC 3153
East VICp: (03) 97205444
He has one of Holdens full size Dielectric welding machines and makes a number of door trim panels. He also has some NOS vinyl.

Hey guys just looking at the plates on my LH the trim code reads - 1888-64W. Which i came the the conclusion that its a Gazelle interior would that be correct. its a 74 'S'. That would also mean column auto and no rear arm rests?

The thing to note is the Doeskin insert (Printed Stripe) has darkened considerably. Note the console top and armrests have also darkened through sunlight exposure.

Here is the back seat
http://www.gmh-toran...-1333807869.jpg

its interesting you have noted that the cosole top and armrests have darkened.. I acutually thought the panel had faded instead!!! lol

I have not tried to clean them properly yet, I think that the seat covers that were on them have rubbed off abit onto them. So I'm hoping they clean up abit better.

Anyone know anything about the trim code 1843-49R? It's in my 72' SL if that helps.
Trying to hunt down some fabric for some retrimming on a few small parts (top of door trims, top of back seat etc)
I just ordered Torana Tough so I'm hoping that has some info in it.

Any help is appreciated.

Got the book in today's mail, and boy was I in for a treat.
Superb stuff, really well researched.

Found out that my trim is Antique Brown which is also available in the HQ.
Now just to hunt down a trimmer that's got some in stock, also some matching colour pinchwelds...the search continues
