Yes it wasn't a bad head on that thing, spent a bit of time on it and it flowed well but there was still more on the table. Unfortunately I lost all of my flow numbers on that head. It is a credit to you how fast you have got that thing Hip6.

That head shit itself not long after, around '94.
The head on it now looks no different to every other yt 9 port out there, been a bit of mucking around involved in getting the car to where it's at.

hip6 when your car ran the 11.5 with the 9 port was it on methanol? Rough cam and compression specs, 8000rpm? I'd say your cars around 2400lbs? Understandable if you dont want to tell too much lol as its quite an achievement.  Cheers

How much have you lightened the car? Low 11's 117mph is awesome

That was July 2013, second ever run on e85,pulled a jetting guess out of my ass....very average effort, but had to start somewhere coz I refuse to use a dyno and leave all tuning for race day.
Just kept tweaking from there.

Was that jetting guess, ummmm fat...... lol. Yeah my once and only dyno experience was pretty crap. You cant replicate a run at the track on the dyno lol. Cheers

It should've been fat but was actually a bit lean.
Just always preferred to do things the hard way in not using a dyno, takes a lot more time working through stuff though...so not that clever looking back.
