I see the important info thread says cars that run quicker than 11.00 will be sent home..... previously it was cars that look like they could run quicker than an 11.00 will be sent home, basically at the scrutineering shed, can i please confirm.

In the interim could someone please add me as position 72, 15 is now gone, pending the answer from Tiny.

If the car is known to run quicker than 11.0 it wont be allowed to run.
If the car looks like it'll run quicker.. you will be watched like a hawk and given NO second chance. ( Nitrous, Parachute, anything like that will be watched mercilessly).

As soon as they see anything below 11.0sec you will be asked to park it.

The reason behind this is that they had some people in the past, without any kind of drag racing licence, Jump in to their mates seriously quick cars (Super Sedans) and take them for a run.
This means that they have NO ANDRA license and therefore insurance and WSID is liable should there be an incident.

Unfortunately due to these issues WSID is *EXTREMELY* strict on this ruling.
As few of the guys last drag day had some AWESOME machinery that did run quicker, and unfortunately they had to park it for the day.

We really have to abide by WSID rules as I want the forum to be remembered for the good, and not for some bad incident because someone broke the rules.

That's all the info i have on this issue, Unfortunately if you enter on the day and DO run quicker (or get knocked back at scrutineers) then there is nothing i can do to refund any payment. You are entitled to race another vehicle (of course as long as it passes scrutineers) in place of the car that is too quick.

I spent saturday detailing the monaro (as much as it's gunna get anyway!) and just thinking that it was such a pefect day i should have been out driving it!!

I just hope that the drag day weather will be as good as saturday was!

Unfortunately due to finding a cracked rim on my car, I dont KNOW if i will be able to afford the exhaust and dyno tune before the drag day!
So i'm spewing at this stage.. but... ya never know what might happen :)

Yeah if i can get a spectator pass i'll be there. Was considering running my Orchid LH but the trans slips when abused so i decided against running that car. I'm spewing, i reckon i could've got a low 13 out of it.
