I was wondering if seam welding a lc Torana would give me any benefit down the quater mile
and if so what are the main points you should concentrate on or should the whole car be to see
results.

Eh? The body IS the chassis, it is a mono chassis car, same as a LH/LX.

thats more of a circuit race thing, best thing you could do is fit a chassis kit under it to stop front twisting

If you were lifting the front wheels and buckling the roof or rear quarter then I would be stitch welding everything.
If you are running slicks and not much else then at least stitch the upper rear diff mounts to the floor.

actually it would be good if you could say what horsepower you are running to see what you really need
