Hey people.

Im chasing down prices and makes for headers to suit a Lx 4door 253 engine.
I have been quoted $600 for a set of headers from one company here (WA) but that is the only place :(

And info would be great.

Also.... are the 253 headers different to the 308 headers?

Cheers
Matt

I bought a set of pacemaker extractors (headers) off ebay i think is was for around $300 brand new. This is much cheaper than any shop can supply then. And i had them fitted for only $150 after being quoted over $300 from carline. It certainly pays to shop around.
I also believe HG and HT headers are the same used in an LX torana but dont quote me on that.

I might be wrong but arent 253 extractors recommended 1 1/2 primaries & 308 have 1 5/8 unless you have a wild 308/355 then you use 1 3/4.
