we got bored today when we were working on my mates utes, so we did this...

personally I dont really like the style, but they look ok. they are 17x8 with 245s front and rear. I reckon the back could easily take a 265. It needs smaller tyres on the front so I could turn, and bigger on the back.
I want to try my other mates 17s on, I think they would suit the car better (he drives the orange kingswood that was at the drag day)

edit: wtf, photobucket halved the size of my pics! bastards!

Cohen, probably ridiculously high quality. I bet you I could get them up there at full size :P

lol, not my cup of tea really either.

Would've been photobucket. I think it says on the site 'images over ... mb automatically resized...'

photobucket. it says images over 1mb are resized, my pics were nowhere near that. the wheels actually look better in the bigger pics.
but when I dont re size the pic (left at 2500 odd pixels), my pics get resized back down to 644 pixels wide (I normally take them down to 600 wide)

Just for my own curiosity, can you give me a few more details. I know they are 17x8, but do you know what offset they are and what discs you have on the front of the Torry?

Chopper, they are HQ-WB discs, and the wheels have +20 cast into the backs, but they also have 22 stamped into the back. you cant really turn with the 245s on the front, and if I was going to run these wheels i would need them to sit a little further in, P76 discs may do enough.
RIM, If I had a decent front bumper I would put it on, its just a matter of finding one at the right price.

I like it, looks tough.
One has to be a bit carful when using modern wheels on old cars as sometimes the look clashes but that looks quite nice.

if u r handy with a mig you could cut the front guards and raise the arch an inch and a half ( still look stock / run bigger rims / still turn )

but then it doesnt look as low, I would rather just get the offset right. at least i know i can get a 265 under the back without minitubbing

running a 10 bolt, not the UC type. I dont know about the width, I think it is somewhere close to standard, I can measure it for you when I get home this weekend.

it was in my LH (RIP) when I bought it, so I dont know if it is a shortened Kingswood one or a A9X diff, it has the cast mounts for the upper mounts and custom upper arms, the mounts for the lowers look like Torana ones.
