That was one nice looking Hatch, someone should tell the owner to let NZ police know as that is where a number of aussie nicked vehicles go, or at least used to

ALX chassis = 1975 ?

Very nice too.
Also very unique on a number of points.

Eyes are peeled here.

Thanks for the constructive comments so far. I know that Albert will appreciate it.

Cruiza, I will let him know to follow up on the NZ connection.

bluea9x - I thought about ebay as I vaguely recall this being done previously. Can you give me any hints on how to construct the ad please? Like, do I put a low starting bid and high reserve. How did your mate do it? Any help on that approach would be great.

Cheers,

Tony

^ Thanks mate :)

This place has its moments but when push comes to shove we are all on the same side and willing to go the extra mile to help a fellow Torana friend. What a great community we have happening.

Jesus Christ!

Is it just me or do these 'pro-jobs' seem to be on the rise...

It's got me worried to be honest. Trust no-one!

Dam! Its starting to get to the point where we all need GPS tracking devices on our Toranas! Definate pro-job, kids dont steal 40 year old cars for joy rides!

i think it would also help to post some pictures of the leather interior as its unique to the car and also contact local motor trimmers as they surely won't use it,..its definitely a pro-job but the can't use everything,..also the tag numbers in this way they will either destroy them or get nailed passing them on..all the best in getting it back..

I have emailed the owner for tag details and I have attached a pic of the interior. I have asked for more pics.

Thanks for all the suggestions and genuine concern. Albert is very appreciative of your support.

Cheers,

T

Yep, no worries there Mort. And yeah, hopefully word is getting around. Albert did a flyer drop around his area on the weekend and has maybe come up with a lead. I certainly hope something comes of it.

Cheers,

T
