I recently got told by someone that the house behind theirs has two Torana's in the back yard.
No one seems to live there ie: yard overgrown, letterbox full of junkmail, never seen anyone there and no answer on the few occasions when he's knocked on the door.

Any ideas how you would go about finding the owner?

Cheers.

Try the local council, surely someone paid rates for the place at some stage.

real estate agents might be worth a try
chances are it was a rental
or if you wanted to pay you could try a tittle search at the lands registry office

Yeh, may come up as a rental, or advertised for sale.

If you spoke to a local Real Estate agent, they could access RPData, and might be able to tell you a bit about who owns the house etc. Might even be able to get a phone number to call.

Brisbane City Council will only give you the owners name and address if you live next door. Ring up and pretend to be the bloke behind and tell them you need to put a new fence up, then they will definately tell you the owners details, but they dont record phone numbers.

stealing cars and mail, even if the discussion is in a joking manor have no place on these forums.

Who said anything about stealing the mail? I only want a name off it.
And if I was gonna just take the cars, I wouldn't make a thread telling everyone about it...
