not very many torana,s there today but two cars of interest was a yellow ss hatch that was so well done ,it was won of the best ive seen for a long time if not the best ,was mint everywhere you looked .
If anyone has a pic would be nice to post it as it was nice .
Also a white L32 SS that was forsale for $100,000 yes $100,000 owner was claiming that it was a prototype car for the first A9X,s it was a 75 build date on the compliance date ,was wondering if any one else saw it ????

Wasn't every torana pre A9X production a prototype?

There were quite a few 75 hatches (some with square headlights and floor dipper), so he is probably talking out his arse - without seeing the car of course.  Just being 75 doesn't make it special.

$100k - tell him he's dreaming.

What was the numberplate on it?

It was also at the same show last year. Nice car but I almost fell over when heard him disclosed the price to someone. Still has Victorian number plates on the car.
The yellow hatch was an exceptional finish & attracted a lot of attention. Especially me. Did anyone find out the price of the unflared white hatch?

There certainly were some very nice cars there yesterday including the Toranas. I have photos of the cars above which I will try to post up tonight.

John - I didnt catch the price on the unflared hatch.

Wasnt a bad show this year even though it pissed down rain. Managed to pick up a small pile of Torana bits and 6 old Budget Build Ups for $8.

Pity the bar wasnt open though as I well and truly had my drinking boots on.

Good to catch up with a forum members and club members as well.

I will start with the Torana's and post the rest later on.

We were gone by lunch. Had to get home & wash the car after ploughing a 300m mud furrow in the rain soaked field getting out of there.
Still was worth going though. Always a good turn out at that event.

70's Corvettes are one car that look great with modern BIG wheels on them....

Not sure why, but that Vette got me all excited.
