I bought this on the way home from VIC. I was going to drog by the drags at heathcote, but the opportunity to buy this was too rare and I had to own it.

Only one in the country that I know of. Heaps of work to be done still, but the major work has been completed.

I took some pictures of it for you guys to have a laugh.

I need to sort out the oil issue with turbo and other bits and pieces.

This is a picture of my new turbo. That is a nokia 6210 nav phone in picture for reference size.

Here a picture of the set up. As you can see there some tidy up work to be done at the moment.

It will be used only as a track bike. If I can get this set up to work properly, then I will build the same for my road bike which has the same engine in it.

Turbo Hondas aren't anything new.
Remember the old CX 500 turbo? Early 80's? Not exactly the forefront of turbo technology, but they went alright!

A bloke at my work put a turbo on his Yammy R1. I think it's scary.

Wow is that a CBR250?? :spoton: I reckon that would work out pretty well on the track.

There was a CX500 in at Prestige Honda here in Perth about a year ago when I was getting some work done on my old Smokin Joe - that digital dash was kinda trick. As for the turbo CBR250 - yeah it's unusual, but a CBR600 would still eat it for lunch Posted Image

I keep bigger bike riders honest as it is now now on my little 250. I loving smoking them on the track. Hopefully with this all set up properly I will be able to punt around the creek even quicker.

How mad would it sound down the straight boosting from 10,000 to 20,000 rpm?

I had a Kwaka 750 turbo too, nice bike, but I sold it for a GPz900 which had more top end and handled better.
Didn't have the midrange grunt of the turbo though.
