For shits and giggles we were going to see how well the sales guys knew about Toranas while looking at the car yards in Vic Park on Saturday.

I would recommend you keep your eyes out for a tassie car, they don't come up often but there is only a limited amount of buyers for them due to the small population size.
There is a similar UC to that in SA with a hot 350 chev, 9 inch with minispool, tricked trans and respray and I think he wants $10k for it. If you play your cards right, you could still get a good trade off for your calais, to someone that was using their torana as a daily/semi-daily and is over it but still wants something with go, you have a luxury car with the grunt. Could work... Happy to look at SA cars for you if you like.

I agree with everyone in saying htat car is worth half of that asking price, nice car though.

that us with the 350 that isn't painted gun metal gray with drag ways is it???
if it is i sent him an email bout the car and he said that he wont discuss the price through email he rather i see it in person to see if its worth
that much
plus how would a daily driver with a carbey 350 like on juice?
and with all the money i get payed i pretty much spend it all on my lx that i`m doing up
so it will take a while to get the money if i did get that uc with the 350

I can tell you that you wont get to test drive unless there is a deposit paid.

lol how did yas go with it?
well i emailed the guy with the hot house uc and he just a typical used car seller
he can talk the talk but he wouldn't know a left handed hammer from a right handed one lol

the rest of the car looks very tarted/ordinary
Interior - it looks to have the - sle sunbird specs cloth inserts seat - good, standard dash rather than the sports one bad, crappy after market steering wheel rather than a dash coloured gts one, no ac, centre dash in some crazy finish. The dash has probably been repainted in black, very rare to be able get uc dash in black-makes it easier to get a steering wheel to match though, handbrake console is different colour....detail! Also dash mat in photo....what's that hiding
Untrimmed door/window sills, to burn your elbows on hot days - that's telling you it was the base poverty pack S model though any trimmer can fix that up for a bit of cash, but why didnt that get done with the new door trims
