Arms can be fitted left or right. Apparently, there is a small hole drilled for something on one of the rear arms. If you stuff it up, you could always drill another hole in the other arm.

Come on RED you should know this.

The right upper arm has a small hole drilled where a self tappered bolt head screw goes in for the little rear brake line, rubber hose to affix.

I meant on the lowers and it's been a while since I was under the car in that area. It's my next project to pull the rear out and give it a scrub up.

I can't say I know of the hole you're talking about.

The bottom ones are easy to tell coz you can see where the sway bar was attached, it's all clean and there are two holes in each.

I'll take your word for it though. Or I could get off my arse and look in the workshop manual but I'm not going to bother.

LS1LX has it spot on - but I suspect that the small hole is punched, so the self tapper can cut more thread. Still didn't stop mine from loosening up every few months.

Apart from that, the upper arms are identical. It would be difficult to drill that hole with the upper arm in position though.

That's the one I was talking about. How could I have been talking about the sway bar mounts, when I clearly stated that ONE arm had the hole. Unless of course you want to believe the sway bar is only connected to one arm.

My LJ has holes in the lower trailing arms for the handbrake cable to pass through.
