wiper linkage clips

cavan here from rare spares, trying to find out some information, we are in the process of working on the hq-wb main wiper clip which is also the same clip as fitted to on the linkage to pivot point on lh lx toranas.
we are hoping someone here might have a specific photo or even a sample for us, i have a few different clips here in my office at the moment but we are unsure as to which one is the actual clip we need to remanufacture.
iv attached a photo to give you an idea which one we are talking about, these 3 clips according to the catalogue should be the same clip, i realise they look different in teh picture for some reason but the part numbers are all the same.
cheers

Anyway I have an LH/LX/UC wiper assembly or two lying around. You're welcome to grab them and use them as some kind of reference, and pull them apart as long as you put them back together.

I don't recall ever removing those clips and putting them back on successfully, but back when I was 15 I may have been a bit careless.

Also of interest (may be? others to comment) is the brass bush that flog out in the ends of the links and is why they clunk and flop about. From memory they sort of screw in as two parts.

Hi Cavan
I'm thinking they were left over from my brothers HX sedan rebuild back in 1985. They are brand new never used.

Maybe Heath could have a look and see if his wiper assy's have any clips and if they look the same.
Cheers

Nice try Al
If new wiper link clips are as rare as rocking horse poo then I'm not parting with them that easily.

But if you don't want to do that, there are heaps of original ones available from cars at wreckers etc. I don't think they need to be reproduced.

Sorry for the thread steal.
mate there is only one clip that really needs making and that is the lc/lj brake line clip that mounts the line under the left side of the body, thay always brake and you cant seem to buy them anywhere.
cheers gong
I think I could supply a sample of these if required, Gong could you email a pic so I can confirm what I have is the one your talking about.

Heath I really don,t care what you think
If someone specifically offers me advice that they believe I will find useful, even if I don't like it (for ANY reason), I at least have the decency to respond to them in a friendly, reasonable matter and say "thanks, but i'd prefer to not follow that advice for x reason". I don't understand what made you feel compelled to be such a tosser then.

Rightio, there are three or four clips of this style on the system, then there is a short arm that hangs off the back of the wiper motor, that arm is attached to the motor spindle with a nut, but I'm not sure how that arm connects to the other linkage i.e. what type of clip is used there, the only system I have that is fully assembled is the one that's in my car and I can't easily use that as a referenceMaybe Heath could have a look and see if his wiper assy's have any clips and if they look the same.
