I replied to this question that you posted on the Fastlane Forums, with regards to the different part numbers. etc.

Have a read of that and you will see that there are indeed two types of clips used on the LH/ LX/ UC Wiper arm system..

cheers

I thought i asked a perfectly reasonable question regarding the re making of certain clips,I didn,t ask if you reckon they should be or not..

So in your eyes that makes me a tosser????

No, read my post.

Heath,
Relax. You offered some advise - that is to make a clip out of a ice cream container! Obviously 2ELCS doesnt want to put ice cream container parts onto his restoration.
I dont see the need for petty name calling.

Lets get back onto the topic, and if the parts that 2ELCS is after are required then it might be something worth re-making.

Cheers.

Very expensive, but you only need one of these ones on a Torana, correct?

I think everything other than the motor (at least on an LH/LX/UC) crank uses a different, and cheaper, clip. They're $25 for four.

Heath , the LX needs 3 of these $20 ones and the cheaper one you linked to is used on the motor arm , so just one of them . I think the HQs only need one of the $20 ones and the rest are the cheap ones . Looks like the LX is unique in needing 3 of them . No idea why they did this and not just use the cheaper clips like all the other models
