Anyone keen on going for a little cruise in the next month or two? Just on a Saturday or Sunday morning that suits people.

Ideas for destinations, roads & meeting places welcome.

I think the last Melbourne forum 'cruise' we had was about 2 years ago? Maybe longer? lol. It was to Cardinia Reservoir IIRC, and that wasn't a half bad location to finish up.

Good idea Heath,

My car is awaiting an engine transplant, but we can always bring WILDUC out for a cruise!

It'd be good to have a catch-up!

Even as small catch-up cruise. As heath suggests... Maybe a catch-up for a counter meal and a small cruise?

Yeah I'm definitely up for that if I'm around. We can go and do some Chap-laps. Nah that would be shit. Um if ur looking for ideas then there's a nice drive out through Gembrook and Launching Place to Warburton. But maybe thats a bit far for some punters.

I reckon just do a shortish one - if you go out too far East like Warburton then it will discourage people from the north or the S.E. etc (remember they need to drive home too), if everyone has fun we'll organize another one soon.

Get like 5-10 cars there and talk a bit of shit, get some photos, we could have a counter meal as Matt suggested, but I reckon it's a bit more fun with a BBQ at someone's house or at a public park etc.

The VTC cruise is coming up in a few months as well (and that will be very big), but doing something in the meantime would be good.

Not a bad Idea Steve, Emerald Lake Park though you have to pay to enter though I think.

What other Parks are up this way with BBQ's?

Few I know of that i have been to and are good and No Dirt roads.

Belgrave Lake Park (Where I use to get a lot of my old photos)
Warburton
The Park at the bottom of the Mt D Tourist Road, near the 1000 steps
Lilydale Lake Park?

Is there anything up in Kalorama or anything up the mountain? (Not on Dirt Roads)

Well there is that lookout carpark where the old coach road & old mountain road all come together at Kalorama
Posted Image
but in this weather it's probably better to be somewhere else, there are probably fast, bitterly cold winds there non-stop haha

That Belgrave Lake carpark might be good? But where do we want to meet up & cruise? Perhaps somewhere around Mitcham? Cruise out and head over Mt Dandy then come down into Belgrave? Let me know
