ATTENTION ATTENTION ATTENTION MAY I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE!

 

it moved under its own power as at 3pm on the 24/2/2013 :) one happy larry right here... bleeding and bleeding and persuasion payed off. needed a big suction syringe to gravity bleed... now to finish off all the final things for those who are friends with me. video is on facebook for those who are not.... i will upload it to photobucket as soon as i am at a computer that is capable... for the rest of you who said i would never get there suck eggs :) one stoked fella right behind this keypad

 

i have great mates who have helped me over the last few weeks if it wasnt for my mates family and gf my ute would not of gone any further but thanks to my mates and misses i got the finger out of my ass and got stuck into it...

 

now to finish the little do dads and its done :)

so we had rev issues basically the car cold revved got warm would get to 3,500rpm and go blehhhh pop pop pop so i rang around and got told to replace my sensors so i bought a new MAT, MAP TPS, IAC even threw a new regulator on... and still no avail found we had fuel pressure it had me stumped. i always had a sneaky suspicion the problem lied within the loom or dizzy anyway pulled all the conduit found alot of dodgy work not one but 2 auto leccys had done... grrr 1000 each time and they still #@$^%& me over. an earth was on the front of the block and went to the cab and earthed in there... anyway learnt how to read the diagrams and found that my map wires had melted at the back... shortened them soldered them put them back. found a couple of wires dodgy and a whole load of earths sitting in the loom. chased it back and found anyway still had the problem...

 

anyway found a bloke who scanned it. and found the dizzy sensor had shit itself... now it hits fuel cut limiter one happy larry... now i gotta somehow get the rest of the interior in and shifter back together and hopefully just make it for gazzanats friday otherwise i might head up during the day saturday and spend a good solid day up there.

wow i just read my whole thread. i gotta say i dribbled alot. i still do now but i think its to a lesser degree haha.

anyway since that last date my ute sat in a corner... i modified my 4wd and so on.

january i retired the efi to my rubbish bin and then this happened

now to lift up the front and replace bushes so it doesnt drive like a boat and im done.
