Response from council -

All is okay........

.
But it's still illegal.

BTW anyone in the Gold Coast area - it's illegal for you too according to this.......

What a bunch of morons - Spray painting is already nationally regulated. Spend my money on something worthwhile. Bet if I wanted to use the local TAFE facilities they'd tell me to get bguck'd!!

Grant..

Unfortunately, it is happening everywhere.

I've been called by a few people (due to my background) to assist in sorting out issues with Councils. One guy was hassled cause he had cars at his house in town, so he moved out onto property, and Council dude just turns up out of the blue.

Another one had his development application refused because he mentioned that he was into cars!!! They rolled out every single rule and roadblock (one at a time mind you) till he got the shits and gave up. They usually go down the Environmental Policy hole because it is expensive, inexact, and very hard to win an emotive argument, it is your word against theirs, despite what specialist reports you get.

If your dealing with Council's tell them nothing, and get some good advice.

You'll be right Big T, I know somebody in the Brisbane City Council area.

There used to be an ad on TV, no idea what it was for, but there was a dodgy mechanic telling his female customer how he had to remove the sump, crank, conrods and pistons so he could reach up the bore to clean the spark plugs...
