Interesting, what do you mean by extra weight? The one I used to have was a great piece of kit (as best it could be given the gearbox itself), the factory shifter was a piece of crap that never felt right no matter what I did with it

Due to the changed anatomy of the set up the effort required is about doubled. Doesnt sound like a big deal but my shoulder said otherwise. I couldnt recommend their product for a daily use or high mileage use car.

i'd have to disagree, as my ute was a daily for 2 years with the shifter and i didn't find it any harder than the standard shifter, i even just went out to the shed to check it as i havent driven the ute in a while

mine is brilliant, after it beds in it is quick, sharp, light and easy to use, highly recommended.
1st select isnt a great feel but that was always there from memory, the old shift was awful.

all i can say is fkn awesome! feels like im driving a racing car.the price was forgotten somewhere between 2nd an 3rd!!!!!!!! very happy highly recomended.i can now bolt my console in properly.
