Hello,

Does anyone have any experience with fitting a VK tourque master gearbox into a LC. I have it all bolted up fine and have got the drive shaft off to be shortened. My next challenges are the clutch set up and the speedo cable.

Any hints or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Blair

I have a torque master gearbox in my LX. It is actually factory fitted because the car was originally a 4cyl.

It runs a full cable clutch and a speedo cable that I believe is the same as a UC one. But you may have to confirm that, and see whether a UC speedo cable will fit onto an LC cluster?

Can I help you with anything else? There was no 'conversion' so I don't know about sourcing parts or exactly what fits what, I was just lucky in the first place. I have it all together and drive the car heaps and it's good. I like the gearbox, the shifter, clutch and speedo systems work well and I give it a pretty hard time so I think it's a good setup!
