just wondering if anyone has modified the rear doors to get the window to go all the way down, and if so what did you do?

I never noticed they didn't on an LH? Never been in the back...

My Kingswood rears do. Don't know if you could adapt something?

You could try removing the window stop/buffer at the bottom of the door and see how far down the window will go before the roller on the window regulator disengages from the lifter channel.

Place a piece of masking tape about 3" long from the top of the window vertically down the inside surface of the glass. Now wind the window down as far as it will go and place a mark on the tape in line with the inner belt weatherstrip.

Now remove the window stop/buffer at the bottom of the door and lower the window until the roller is at the end of it's travel in the lifter channel and not quite at the point of disengagement. At this point place another mark on the tape.

Wind the window up and measure the difference between the two marks. This distance will be the maximum you can lower the window stop at the bottom of the door. Would probably be best to deduct 4 or 5 mm off the measurement to ensure the roller will not disengage the lifter channel.
