Hi , Can anyone help me i'm looking for a set of door trim metal top bits for my lc xu-1 , as i went to buy new trims and they told me i needed the metal bits??

Unless you find someone on here willing to sell a set (put up an post in 'wanted to buy') the best place to find them would be on ebay or go to a few swap meets...

Do you need the metal backing plate which is wrapped with the vinyl trim?

I manage to pick up an old set of LC GTR trims off ebay for $110 which still had these metal backing plate plus the stainless strips on the top of trim.

Sorry mick, these are keepers as i have 2 lc gtr's to complete.

These old trims appear on ebay fairly regulary and always go cheap because they're stuffed.

If its the metal plates that you dont see you need i know dash original in S.A. sell them for about $180 a set but the stainless finishing strips are like hens teeth, they usually go for about 250-300.
