I saw an interview this morning of a lady who works in the local church. She said a big burly miner walked in, kneeled down, looked up at the roof, gave a thumbs up and said "Come on God, Do what you do best", then promptly left.
I would like to think that larrykin aussie had more than just a bit to do with the outcome.
I clapped when I just heard the news. One was a local from up here in Bundaberg, I reckon the Bundy is flowing at the moment! :spoton:

Was thinking that. What would you do in pitch black, no food and water for 5 days? Will be interesting to hear their story when they get out, some time tomorrow night I'm told.

I reckon after 5 days down there you would have had plenty of time to realise whats important in life, wouldn't want to swap places for quids, good on you guys.

It's down to the last 48 hours now as they have started boring the hole to get them free. Sounds like they are coping ok as one of the guys asked if he could get the paper so he could look for a new job, hehe, and they also want to be out before the weekend so they can watch the footy.

I work underground at a mine on the west coast and it just makes you think about things a bit more. Man it'd suck not knowing whether your gunna be found or not.
