Hey, I haven't seen much exposure regarding this event, but apparently it's the new all holden day.
Rocklea showgrounds this Sunday, I was going for a look as my car is off the road atm, but was hoping to see some other Torana's there.
Anyone taking their car??

$20 to display Nathan. $5 extra per passenger. We will have a few cars out there tomorrow so if you can make it to Maccas Rocklea (Cnr Granard and Beatty Rds Rocklea) by 6:45 - 7am we can all cruise in abnd display together.

Cheers,

T

Some absolutely fantastic looking cars there! Nice work on the pics guys!
Loved the 2 door FJ (that wouldn't have been easy), the cream turbo HR (how clean is the engine bay!!!) and the Vega (how rare would that be in Oz!!! And with a Cosworth donk no less!)
Wish I made it out there... Damned work and kids and life... Getting in the way of all the important stuff I want to do!!!

No sorry no more pics, all I can tell you I think it has something to do with Red Bull because on the other side there is a massive sound system. Also a big gidday to Big T it's good to put a face to the name. I know it might be a bit late but there is an all Holden day up here in Toowoomba this Sunday if any one is interested.

Cheers John.

Hey Big T great pictures, the Brougham in your pictures (OHT-001) is owned by a lady in my car club & is on the market for $20K, excellant condition, would be a great buy for any body.

Slr_V8, yep that is Rays car. I had never seen it but had heard heaps about it. I like it, its a real cool old wagon and that big arse loud speaker just tops it off !!

DJ - Funny y'know, when I was taking photos of the Stato I thought of you as the rego is BOMBED :D and yeah, that Riviera was pretty cool, something you dont see everyday.

Wayne - That Brougham looked so comfortable and had me gawking for a little while. A very nice car and well worth the $20k. BTW - Issue 31 of Xtreme Holden has a nice wheels up shot of your car from the Winternats (page 38) :spoton:

Not sure Mort, the bloke I was talking to seemed go be the owner and was a fairly young dude. Rick has a profile up on oldskoolmusclecarclub.com that lists a 57 Belair but I cant view the pics to determine if it is the same car or not.

Sorry mate, I'm not much help on that one......

Cheers,

T

Both very tidy cars.
Cheers
