Gidday,
I have just cut out the drivers side floor pan in my LH to replace(some rust holes against the tunnel) and noticed a slight rusty apperance to the inside of the chassis rails and a smaller sub frame? type part which runs at 90 degress to the chassis rail up the front area.
My query is do I clean the inside of these up with a wire wheel or similar and then use rust converter or fish oil or just primer or what before replacing the pan?
Should I not use fish oil anywhere until after the car is totally resrayed?
Thanks Rod.

You should be able to paint over rust converter but not fish oil. Another trick is to use peanut oil as it does'nt smeel so bad
