Hi everyone,

I am looking to positively identify an LX that i have been told is an exceptionally early production A9X. Other than the basic engine gearbox diff and floorpan stuff, does anyone have any real specific give away clues i cannuse to make sure the vehicle is what it is?

cheers

If you can supply me with some numbers thats a start, please supply all of them inan email and any pics if you have them, it may be I know the car or it's on our club records. If it's built before August i'd be suspicious

all A9X's start with J59, this one starts with J58. Straight up, I'd say fake

Mmm, can't see the V8 engine code in there either. Will look at it more tonight.

Oh no, this one again, I just looked through my numbers and this car has come up 2 times now. 2 other members have looked at this one and from what I can tell, the last time someone really started looking it was taken off the market.

Looks like it is a 1977 SL/R 5000 looking at those numbers. The V8 code is in there. Can't find it listed in my listings for A9X's. What's the go with the first two A9X's that were cancelled Red? Crash test dummies?
