Bad luck, I hope he's on the mend soon.
One of the nicest blokes to never have won anything....................Him and Cameron McConville.

He needs all your good karma sent to him. The media details are a little vague on his tumour type but if by stomach they mean gastric cancer he is in very big strife with a potential 5yr survival of about 10%.
An awful diagnosis at such a tender age.

It sounds pretty full on though.

Hopefully they've got it early and he recovers well.

Surgery is usually just the first part of the treatment don't forget.

He won't necessarily be back in a V8 at the start of next season although I hope he is cause he is one of the good guys.

Bargs is a great bloke Cruiza.

He's had a rough trot the last few years with not so good cars which may have shown his grumpy side, but back when he was driving with Tander in the Valvoline Cummins days he was a happy go lucky guy because he had a competitive car.

I am sure he is Potta, in fact I would imagine that most of the blokes out there are, certainly the ones I have spent any time with were, but someone has to be the villain and he took out my mate Murf, ok it was years ago but I can hold a grudge if I want too lol

6th in Fridays race at AGP, second yesterday.

Jason Richards (#14 Team BOC Commodore VE II 2nd)

For some reason, I seem to be performing better with cancer in me! Ive got a massive battle on my hands. My cancer is not getting any better. Im off chemotherapy, so shortly Ill have my hair back.

Im on a break from treatment, Ive just gone on a new trial drug on Monday from Sydney. Im just praying like hell that Ive got the actual active drug. Chemo definitely knocks you around. I still managed to do some test days after the chemo to keep myself active. I think thats a big part of this treatment and thats the mental part, and thats what Im doing this weekend.

Im not as race fit as these lads. Ive been out of the chair for six race meetings, and I was eating ice cubes back there for a week! Its not really good pre-season fitness.

This really is my couple of little weekends in a row where Im having a normal life. This is definitely not my comeback. This is purely me having fun, me being able to have fun.
