Has anyone replaced front indicators with

G'day people, i've got some rust at the bottom of the front indicators and instead of fixing it I was thinking of cutting it out and fitting some driving lights in the holes, like moulded spoiler lights, I was woundering if anyone has done this ? what type of lights did you use ? I don't no where would be the best place to fit new indicators, I thought maybe some LED one's comming from the bottom of the front bumber and on the guards, also what would be the legal requirements? It's still just an idea, if some has any pic's of this type of modification please post them.

I'm sure there's rectangular driving lights that would fit there but I think it would be hard to find a more appropriate place for the indicators than the standard position...
It wouldn't be too hard to remove the nosecone and fix the rust around there (That's what I'd be doing anyway) and put the driving lights behind the grille.
