Probationary Liscence restrictions have nothing to do with the modification laws he's talking about.

Bart, Jap XU-1, dansedgli or NVMYLH would probably have a decent idea.

From what an engineer told me is that there isn't a proper date set as the engineers cannot come to an agreement to finalise some of the rules being disputed.

nothing will happen with the laws. If you change them, what will happpen with hotrod,s they came out the factory with 20hp engine. It will put to many people out of work. I spoke to an engineer, he knows nothing at all

Hotrod guidelines are totally different to Modification Rules.

The different categories for Vintage, Veteran and Hotrods can still stand while they tell us how we can't modify anything newer.

Guys from what I have been told NSW are changing the way the do engineering as of July this year you will no longer receive paperwork for your engineering work...you will receive a "mod" plate with numbers on it. The numbers represent the mods that you have done... sorry if incorrect but I am in the process of doing a FJ ute and have made many changes and this is what the engineer has told me..

A mod plate may be the way to go if it has the identifying numbers of the vehicle on it as well. Save the hassle of "lost" paperwork etc??

Hey guys, i emailed my engineer a week and a bit ago and he has heard nothing about any changes.
Tiny did say some time ago the changes will happen in July 1st.
Another guy told me he spoke to someone in the RTA and they said August.
Basically if your doing mods hurry the hell up like i am  better to be safe than sorry so try to finish the mods before July/August ASAP.
Kind regards
Bart

Sounds like that absurd proposal to change the driving ages. It never happened, obviously they couldn't confirm different aspects of it and come to a mutual decision.

The point is, it didn't change; good.
