I posted a response to a wanted add on here last night. The person wanted to buy a GTR. I said I had one for sale 'Soon" and left my number. Someone on this forum decided that my ex wife should know that i am trying to sell the GTR behind her back prior to settlement. It seems that you can't trust anyone. The thread I posted was very easy to understand, and it implied that i will be able to sell MY Gtr soon. That statement is factual, it will be my car again and I WILL be able to sell. To the do-gooder who thought my ex had know instantly...your are a cock. You could have called the number and asked me about it. I would have said that the reason i wrote soon is that i am unable to sell it yet due to a separation settlement but given nthe fact that the bloke is in townsville and GTR's are not easy to come by, i was letting him know that i have one that I will be able to sell soon if he wants to wait.....Wankers.

Its a public forum mate, it could have been anyone that read it.

Maybe even your soon to be ex-wife.

At the very least it must be someone that knows her.

My ex tried that shit on me about taking half my cars and machinery..... I told her she had already taken my house, my family and my relationship and if she took my cars etc I would "hunt her down and kill her, because I'd have nothing else left to lose". I didn't hear from her for 2 weeks while she considered my sincerity and after that she was fine.

My guess is that it was the 'soon to be ex' that put up the original post

Seems a bit of a coincidence that the first post ever from that person was from the same town - asking for exactly what you have......

Skap:

Ha - I agree - chicks can be really smart (and tricky) when it suits

(would actually make a great discussion topic)

Who's pulling the doddy shit.

You better hope the ex wife don't copy and paste your first post and take it to court with her. Will not look good and the judge may be thinking what else your hiding.

Sorry mate you lost me. I at no stage have offered the car for sale "Now". When i explained this situation to her after the do-gooder called her, she completely understood what i was doing. There is nothing dodgy, my point here is about dickhead do-gooders acting before thinking, not my ex wife.

the sky is blue
water is wet
women are women

tread carefully
a women scorned............
and all that
well most of us have been there done that
best off leaving it till it's all settled
no offence but the court will look at it as a "old car not worth much.. blah blah"
just make sure the "comparisions" are not concorse
otherwise you may be in trouble

If the car is worth a few dollars, I suggest pulling it apart....... Then it's just a pile of parts from an old car. The courts will see it as worthless, then when it's all over you can put it back together again :)

Just make sure you post a thread about the "build-up" because we wanna see what you've got :)

Thanks for the reply fellas. However, the issue here is a do-gooder reading a post and calling the ex wife to tell her that I am "trying to sell the car before settlement". This is not about my ex. we are not going through court, we have come to an agreement which includes me getting the car among other things. The settlement has not been finalised legally. I have no issues with my ex in regards to this, i have issues with the wanker who told her I was advertising my car for sale when all I did was answer a wanted add. Since we split people have been telling her so many lies about me, the funny thing is that i don't even know them. This is just another case of this happening.
