g'day...
im just after a few oppinions on carbs for a holden 6.
In my case im looking at what would go better on a 6, built primaly for the
drags.I've seen a bloke from up north, run like a 650dp on a 202, on methanol
and it hauld ass, ran constant 12.8 in an lj torry with an auto and before that, they had webbers on pump gas with a 4 spd running 13.0 @ 101, so i'd imagine both carb setups would go good in the right circumstance.
Has anyone had any experience with this?

Any Holley will only perform well if you've got the manifold vacuum to match it. A 650DP is huge for a six, so that engine must have been absolutely wild. I also don't know what manifold he would have been using.

650 on meth would have been alright on an outright drag engine, not a street car.

although drag racing isn't about driveability, i have seen a 780 on a na. hemi 6 running an 11.4A 650DP is huge for a six
most warm 245/265s run 600 - 650s but this may well be due to the breathing characteristics of these motors,
out of curiosity what's the cfm work out to for a set of tripple 1.75s or tripple 2"

this motor in the early stages, as i dont have 2 many specs yet...
the head is a 12port ported by warflow in gladstone qld, the figures are around
300hp @500''. hes going to match a cam for it at a later date.
I've got yt 5008 rockers, and a set of 175 su's.....thats about all the specs,
just wondering what carbs ppl use on race 202's..
