yes and lets just hope it doesnt raise any funds for nsw by way of fines and defects like tfest. It's great to see this event mentioned in the mainstream media. Also got a mention on 2UE this afternoon.
Let's hope this is well supported and we can raise some big $$ & show what the car fraternity has to offer the community.

There were cops there Rob but just general duties having a look.
Friendly and involved, none of the the stuff that had happened previously.

Don't worry it will happen. It always has and always will thanks to the usual mob of D@#$h&^%s that show up and want to show how they can a do a 10 metre burnout as they leave. Give it time.

I think the lack of alcohol probably goes a long way towards this.

I agree with above posts. In all the times i've been to Harry's, i've never had any problems with Police. My car isn't 100% legal to the letter of the law, but the mods that aren't are not safety related, more so noise. If anything, most of the mods i've done have made my car safer & more road friendly than it would've been when it was brand new. Some of the Police would know that too, but because i don't draw attention to myself with stupid driving & i show respect & consideration to all around me, these Police leave me be & usualy admire my car for what it is. At the end of the day, most Police are like us, but they have a job to do & some times it is the wankers in the stock V6 VR Commodores with chaser rims & stereo systems worth more than the car itself acting stupid with "look at me everyone" antics that can put a dampener on events like this, not the Police themselves. Just my opinion.
