ok i found the answer i was looking for in regards to these pins now another question. in another thread someone mentioned hood pins drawing a defect on the vehicle? is this true under VIC laws? i dont wanna go installing them only to have to take them off as this will be a street driven car

These clips dont stand out as much http://www.prostreet.../WH-001-PIN.jpg
or
http://static.summit...e/hrd-192_w.jpg
that wont stand out at all as they lock down flat

Dont know if either are legal but then again is anything we do to our cars?

Ashley.

The Redline product can earn you a defect under the sharp/protruding object clause.

I had em on my car for a good 2 years and never got defected, probably got pulled over every other month for a chat but thats just a torana thing. Its a risk you take I guess.

I live in NSW and its a grey area 'might be a defect' thing here, probably about the same there.
