I just got in a few weeks ago every single cable from hq-wb and lc-lh to remake all the different variations

I am struggling to find an LX cable tho, iv even asked on here and had no luck, every LX iv found has been missing the cables and everyone i find for sale they advertise it as a lh-lx and cant tell me exactly which model it came from

so if anybody has a sample that would be great



This has been a long time coming!!! Fingers crossed for release soon!

If you are talking LX cable with the tee bar type knob then they are in stock with the round knob they should be in by end of March

No, That comment was in regards to the LH bonnet release cables that are round with a pic of a car on it with the bonnet open.

^^^Early LX also has a cable with a round head and a picture of the car.

Rare Spare would do really well with a rust repair section, REAR ROOF SECTION FOR LX HATCH which would include inner underside roof panel with mounting plates for the hinges..... as we all know this is a common place on the lx 2 door for rust, hope we see it soon.

i,m surprised that no company makes the correct holden 6 cyl LJ water pump , maybe LC too , all the aftermarket ones have that pressed steel propeller that causes cavitation not like the genuine cast type , the other thing is all the after market holden 6 cyl water pumps (supposedly fits all early models) dont have the correct 3/4 inch long shaft that locates into the centre hole of the fan for extra support and centreing and are currently too short and don,t locate into the fan centre hole.

or alternatively a rebuild seal kit for our genuine holden water pumps , these items would sell well as they deterorate even more when the car just sits around not being used .

I wish for the plastic base for the mirrors that fits into the door curve. These seem to be impossible to find in any condition. My LJ badly needs them.... has not had a side mirror on it since I finished the resto for this reason. I'm amazed that such a simple item to mould and manufacture is not already available. I have the right contacts to get them reproduced very inexpensively but have been unable to beg/borrow/steal/find a decent sample in order to organise it.

I will put them on the wish list but I am not sure they will get made anytime soon if at all

I am not sure how well hot cake sell but we already make the lenses I do not think we will make the rest of the tail lamp. The LC head lamp rims will be made next once we finish the LJ ones, the grille is on the wish list.

From what I have been told there was more than one manufacturer of seat belts Rainsford and Cooldrive I have also been told that TWR may have made some as well . I will try and get some samples of the ones you require and we will look at making them. Are there any part numbers stamped on your seat belts you have either on the buckle or tongue something like 9939588 or 9941734R
