i think thats something u thought u told me but actually didnt... lol

well new o rings on the injectors same problem, but when the car has been running for 10 or so minutes the problem almost goes away, so that would be once it reaches temp. But if i turn the car off and back on again the problem comes back. I dont want to do it but i'm going to swap fuel pumps as i cant get hold of a flow tester.

undo the fuel hose
place in a plastic bottle
crank engine
time how long it takes to fill said bottle ( a two litre would be a good one to work out the maths but may be to large to fit in the bay)
(ie 2liters x mins to fill divided by two =flow rate per min :dontknow: )
that's your flow rate
go on to google and look up the specs
(i don't have them off hand)
lot easier than changing a fuel pump
has it got a tow bar?
i still say it may be your crank angle senser

acually i don't think you have to crank the engine
just turn it to on

Its meant to be 1.25 litres in 30 seconds - not sure if this is while running or while cranking.

While cranking the car we were getting almost 750ml roughly in 30 seconds. So i'm going to get a fuel pump and give it a go.

Fixed, it was the fuel pump. In the end it just gave up and wouldnt pump a thing. The car is now happily reving away!

fuel pressure and flow must both be tested every time , you can have pressure but no flow and flow and low pressure. Good to hear you got it sorted anyway..

We bit the bullet and just bought a new fuel pump i couldnt get hold of a gauge to test the pressure so we measured how much came out in 30 seconds, 750ml. It should of flowed 1.25Litres in that time. It trickled out of it.

I cleaned the tank, checked electrical connectors and put it all back in and it fired straight up!

I'll ask the gf about the exhaust terry

Yeah i've learnt to take the tank out, its easier and meant i could clean the tank out at the same time.

Nothing really came out of the tank though.
