the adayer had a boot not a fast back
The Adayer is a coupe not a hatchback.
Fastbacks still have boots right?

the adayer is/ was a sedan body with longer doors,more of a notch back shape ,i guess
yes fastbacks have boots not hatchbacks though 
anyway ,adayers with their gay gold plated badges and quad headlights, look butt ugly ,dont you reckon?

That ford front still looks better than an AU.
The adayers may have had more luck if they stuck to the VH/VK front.
I have a VH, a 308 and would not mind a Monza coupe. Would make a good project if theres any decent Monzas left

Every now & then one pops up on ebay in Australia. Still fairly easy to find in the UK if you want to bring one out.

I have seen a Monza for sale with a VL front 10-15 years ago but it just did not look tuff as the VK front. Spose they would cost $3000+ to bring over.

Yeah alot of opels and commodores share styling. There are some opels that look so much like vb, vc commodores but they are fitted with a 3 litre opel inline 6. Very similar to the nissan rb30.

the dunnydoors up to vt where based on the opel redford (or similar sounding name)
in fact the vn was designed to have the vl/rb30 straight 6 til the raising yen killed all the profit margin
which is why all series 1 vn's have the thermostat at the rear

Saw a Monza in campbelltown the other day. Confused the hell out of me aswell, had no clue what it was till it clicked. Number plate was VKC-00P.

Anton, the Saath Ifrikaans built an interesting machine based on the Manta too.
I think its mentions there were 100 built in this spec, sold through dealers in SA.
They refer to it as "violent".

I know of an opel monza in Perth with a 308 and a VL Calais front on it. It sure makes you scratch your head when you first see it.
