in my honest opinion, a wanted to buy section will never work and I think it will slowly dissapear from ebay ( havent heard many success stories ) Actually I will go one further and say its a flop, have a look yourself and see how many replies there are? not many.

You only have one potential buyer, so demand and price for your item will not rise.

Its so much easier to auction your item and let the vultures pick at it, till the strongest vulture survives. As a seller Im not going to search for a buyer who will only pay so much when instead Im going to advertise and let the buyers come to me, and compete against each other.

Its always going to be supply and demand.

Hey all,
I found the Want It Now section very useful,
sold off some bike parts, worked well.
Added my auction to the requests in the W.I.N. section,
and got more bids.
Cheers
Chris.

Just ask here
Between us all I think we have enough parts to build a few Toranas :)
