Well i currently have a broken/crushed/mangled finger and am bored so i thought u would finally start a new thread on my LJ.
I last left you in the dark about 3 1/2 years ago in THIS thread.
Well in that time i have done.....Wait for it....frOck all!!!!
Anyway, i have a shitload of picks that i will try to sort into some kind of order and story.
Let us begin.
Started by pulling the faithfull old 173 out and putting my 202 together, was going to do a strait swap then go racing, untill i decided to change everything and repaint the car.
173 out
Front end out
New donk
Then i made my new fans work with my new alloy rad without actually mounting them to the radiator.
I have since made alloy filler panels to cover the gap between the nosecone and rad, but no picks of them.
Then i started playing with the front brakes with the intention of fitting up p76 rotors with cast iron girloc hq callipers to bring my front wheels in, but was really disappointed with the fit of the kit and would have had to remove a shitload of material from the ucas to make them work with the caliper spacers.
Good excuse to buy new rims with the correct offset to fit with hq disks....
Thats as many picks i can post at once so that will do for now.
Cheers

More.
I then fitted the HQ stubs and clearanced the ucas, and repainted the front.
Then i moved back yo the rear end, i wasnt happy with how the brakes were set up, i couldnt fit a hand brake and i had to run custom springs.
So i modded everything lol.
Had to nod the shocky mounts so i could put a bolt in from the back, sp i could mount the caliper on the back, amongst other things.
Then i could adapt commy sedan cables and run then to the front of the diff
All fits nicely now
Way more to come but thats prolly it for tonight, my hands hurting and family guy will be on soon.
Cheers.

Kev, Thats one of Gregs (82911s) girdles.
Expectations....Well dreaming 12's aspirated, but prolly 13s. Will put a 100 shot on it if it holds together after a few meets, that has always been the plan.
Cheers.

You should be able to run a 12, it's similar spec to my engine & it runs 12.62 @ 105.
He should go quicker than that, mate,as he has discarded that useless bloody stickshift......

Jason, 9" with 31 spline mosers, doubt it lol.
AD 75, no turbo for this one yet. I built this motor before i saw the light and wanna see what it can do.
Wayne, made them. Just a bit of pipe with a slot welded to some flatbar with two holes lol.
Hayden, when i blow mine up i might nick that one lol.
I crushed my finger between some tags on two bits of casing, which is 10" heavy wall seamless steam pipe. Prolly around 70kg each. was dragging one bit over another and my pinky got in between two metal tags that come off them to bolt a top to. lost the fingernail, fractured the bone, took a massive bit of skin out and had to get 4 stitches lol. Got these mad good prescription pain killers though hehehehe.
AAAANYWAY.
Heres a pick i forgot, like this one.
Ok lets see how much more the forums will let me put up.
Now, im not entirely sure this is all in order, but beggars cant be choosers.
The DS A pillar was quiet rusty, so i had to fix that.
Then through the magic of never updating your thread, suddenly the car was stripped and in primer.
