how long has it been left in primer for?
reason i ask is, primer is porrous, we have seen cars left in primer for a few months and develop rust under the primer. it does happen with the humidity.
Thats the last thing we'd want after all the hard effort.

Hi, only in primer, two weeks today. Have to be really careful up here in the tropics. I wouldnt paint over the wet season, so much humidity. Colour should be on this week. First car I have painted for 20 years, hope it all goes well,

Thanks for looking, Regards Simon

Have the wheel arches been rolled or modified at some stage in its life?.

I can't say I've ever been a great fan of the dulux blue acrylic primer, always seemed to cause trouble later on. I'm guessing its on there after you've gone back and redone some areas? I'd recommend blocking it off and starting with a different brand myself, then again plenty of people have had success with it over time.

Looking good

Looks like it'll be a great car when done. Are you based in QLD?
