Good, now I can stop staring at every white R31 Skyline I drive past.
Makes me feel sick to think that your pride and joy could be stolen and never seen again.

So the cops impounded a stolen car, then gave it back to the thieves after 4 weeks?

WTF??

That is seriously ridiculous.

Anybody spoken to Today Tonight?

Good to hear it came back though.

Here is a story from the Daily Telegraph site

I borrowed the Dymo Label machine from work and printed about 20 labels containing my name and address.

As i slowly put my torana back together I stick on a label in places that will not be visible when the car is complete, but can be easily exposed.

Inside the dash, in the boot under the parcel shelf, inside the doors etc.

Sort of like a low-tech version of micro-dots.

That'd be a nice little suprise for people to find if you sell it later down the track.

I was thinking about leaving little goodies like that in mine too, maybe even leave a story about the car somewhere :dontknow:

yep, I heard it on the radio also, looks like they are asking for an enquiry.

Re labels.... When I rebuilt Ruby I got one of those engraver pens and put her details in all sorts of places not visible by the eye.
