Thought you guys might like to drool over a few photos I took on the weekend.
In a first for the clubs involved the GTR and XU-1 Owners Club of QLD, A9X Club, Caboolture Regional Car Club and QLD Torana Car Club got together for a run through the mountains and out to Lance and Karens for a BBQ. With 40 Toranas and nearly 100 people it was a great turn out and was certainly a feast for the eyes. Everyone had a blast and the atmosphere sitting around having a feed surrounded by awesome cars and cool people was perfect. Needless to say this wont be the last time the 4 clubs get together to share their passion.
Big thanks to Lance and Karen for hosting the event and to all who attended, it was great see you out and about and to meet a few new folk.
Stay Cool,
Tony

anyone know what dimensions the front two wheels on the green lj were?
They are 13 x 7 Magnum Eliminators the same as on my green LX.
I don't think they'd fit on an LJ very well if it wasn't for those bolt-on flares though.
PS. great pics Tony from a great run. And to think I nearly didn't come. Bring on the next one.

......... and there's a Delorian in there to boot, I AM SO JEALOUS.
Hehehe, when Lance used to bring the D out in Sydney, it quickly became "What Torana's?"
It always draws the obligatory crowd and many a "Can I sit in it?" from onlookers.
It's still looking good, fresh from a facelift due to some minor panel damage..........

Hahaha, how did the boss take it John?
Did she stay home Sunday?
I was a bit surprised, she was actually still keen to go...
Its a good way to get her out of bed at a normal hour though, instead of 10am! Got a little sunburn for her trouble
On top of that, I then left her at home Saturday until 10.30pm while I went to the Top Fuelers at Willowbank.
