Yes the Whitemans Park Car show picture is of my car. It blew me away to win best paint. It's really hard when you are up against pearls, metallics and real in your face special mix colours. So it real suprising when a 40 yr old straight solid colour factory paint scheme draws the attention of the judges. This is also the second time it has won best paint.

Pictures don't do it justice. It was a clear standout at Whiteman Park. It drew me in like a mosquito to camp light.
Is that Rally Red or maybe Salamanca red?

Congrats mate on the awards defiantly well deserved.
The number of high quality cars there were amazing, I had a really good day.
Only one thing I still can't work out is I got runner up best paint to you, yet at motorvation my paint scored a really dismal score then at max I get runner up. I know my paint is really lacking just weird what different judges pick up I guess

I know what your saying at GM day the car that got best paint got runner up to me at the Mid West Show and Shine at GM Day mine did't even get runner up. I guess with car shows they can be a real waste of time if you try and work out how they judge. I don't bother if I get something I do if not so be it. It will do you head in or else. I know my stuff and I scratch my head sometimes when I see what judges select and I don't mean in comparison to my car. Can you post a pic of your car.

Yeah its weird the car that got best paint at motorvation was there and didnt get anything for its paint but it pretty much won everything else hahaha.
Heres a pic of my car it was one of the cars at the front of the show. I knew you were a member on here but when i went to ur car i couldnt find you.
