I had a 3.5" tailshaft made up for my ride and the handbrake cable seems to sit super close to the shaft when stationary, is this normal when you put larger shafts and lower LH-UC's?

Are you able to move the hooks to the secondary mounts to hold the cable in a different spot?

Im running commodore 1 piece handbrake cable but the problem is doesnt matter what cable or what angle it comes from the sides it sits in line with the big shaft.

Is it hitting the tail shaft when it is sitting on the ground or jacked up? When you put in lowered springs did you change it to shock absorbers with shorter shafts, i.e. do the springs fall out when you jack it up?

The shock mounts were moved up 2.5" inches on the diff housing, I had shocks 2.5" shorter purchased and installed. Springs dont fall out unless you unbolt the shocks.

The car is at ground level with standard springs right now.

I had the same problem in my Tonner (3.5" shaft). I welded some angle to the floor for the cable to run over so the cable was raised slightly from the floor, and hence gave clearance to the shaft. I never use the h/brake so wear is not an issue.
