When you consider how many 308's failed under racing conditions, you have to laugh at that letter.

The cold start rattles of an L34 engine were well known. Thankfully these days the metallurgy in forged pistons has allowed much tighter piston-bore clearance.

We will have to remember what really happened with the early Ls1's and compare it with what Holden will spin to us in time won't we? LOL...
