sounds like a bargain too.  :3gears:

Mmmm been offered a 3lt forged bottom end. Not sure if I should take it or not. If I do it will be more than capable of making upwards of 550hp@rw. What do you guys think.

I reckon go for it! What's your PB down the strip now?

Took this week of work so I could pull my finger out and change over the manifolds. Dam its tight on the inlet manifold side. 6 1000cc injectors should be able to feed it haha. Making the exhaust is going to be fun too.

Not interested in skids and for your info Gene. It could do power skid before hand if I wanted to. Had problems with the ecu on Friday. Hopefully have that sorted out tomorrow and have it back on the dyno on Friday. But was very promising tho. Made 376@rw on 15 psi with the ecu shutting down the injectors. Nistune had loaded in the program for a r34 with traction control. I don't run trackion control. So it was shutting it down. Basically work on roughly 15hp per 1 psi so should be somewhere around the 450hp@rw mark. Not bad for a std bottom end and pump 98

gad the dyno play up but I was told to simply continue the power curve and that will show me what hp its making. They are getting me back for a straight power run in a week or so when they get the required bits fixed on the dyno. Looks like a good solid 420+@rwhp you can see where the dyno dropped out. I have drawn it in to continue the power curve

Tribute to dad in the center.

Finally got it back to the dyno. V band clamps still leaking. Buy got a full power run done. 422.3rwhp. Not bad for pump fuel And 160 cubic inch engine.
happy with the power but not happy with the v band joints.

Well have been playing with the v band clamps. Looks like I have fixed the leaks. Made a new exhaust system that goes all the way to the back of the car now. Also found out that the new 80mm throtal body was leaking too. So have changed that as well. I have also dumped the twin 044 bosch pumps in favor of 1 walbro 450lt intank pump. Car goes back on the dyno on the 10th. Will be interested to see if any changes in hp output.
