I'm trying to convince my dad to put the torrie on a trailer and bring it home rather than having to do a 15minute trip every time, then I can look up parts of cars n shit and walk out to the garage and find the part in the torana, that way I'll be able to memorize and be familiar with car parts a lot easier also just to be able to see the beast a lot more often haha

okay so i've planned the weekend with dad to go down, clean the torana, charge the battery, give her a good run around the farm, give it an oil change, wash down the engine, truck wash the outside of the car.

MAYBE put back on the old wheels he used before they went illegal or something in Victoria, he said he used to have nice thick wheels but they made him change them.

Then take some photos and possibly a video to show you guys the result. I'll probs make it a new thread in the project area, to stop this thread going so off topic haha.

Thanks for all the help, feedback, and advice you've all given me. I've surprisingly learnt alot just from this thread and some searching around the internet in the last few days

good on ya for having a go mate, there not many young blokes out there these days that would even think about it, to easy to just go out and buy a ricer with a sneeze box and sling shot around town acting like total twat's.... cant wait to see some pic's of the old girl and clean and shinny and a video would be good too

oh hell yeah haha i forget to mention that, thanks.

Had a chat about it last night with the old man and he said he used to do a full service himself, basically everything that's in the manual he has done so he can do a fair bit more than i thought which is great when i come back from the torana i'll post a link to the new forum on here
